About Cushions
Scatter cushions are a fantastic way of accessorising a room. Sometimes called pillow shams cushions stack up well on a bed so you can sit up with ease. Don't be mean with cushions, they look great when there's lots of cushions altogether, creating an inviting atmosphere. We have a great range of fabrics that you can mix and match cushions, using several different fabrics from the same collection, but coordinating a colour or design scheme.
We now offer different shaped and sized cushions so you can create a pile of squashy comfort that looks cosy and inviting. Why not try having plain cushions mixed in with pattered designed cushions and then we also do piped cushions, so you could have your cushions with a contrasting piped edge. We can always add trimmings, fringing of beading to cushions. We have a lovely selection of beaded designs that accentuate cushions beautifully.
Our range of country patchwork designs lends itself brilliantly to the traditional cushion concept. The fabric has already been sewn together, so avoids that time consuming and labour intensive job. You get that lovely homemade feel without having to sew all the tiny pieces together.
Floor cushions are a great alternative to beanbags and sometimes far more practical as polyester cushion filled pads are completely machine washable.
Our cushion covers are generally machine washable. Only a few designs are dry clean only. All cushion covers are made to an exceptionally high standard, with all seams inside completely over-locked. All cushion covers have a zipped edge for ease of access to the cushion pad.
Cushions are a great way of adding accents to a child's room in an affordable way. You can get several reasonably priced cushions all made to your individual specifications. For an extra touch of personalisation why not choose a more expensive fabric to have just one or two cushions made up in. It adds a touch of luxury to use several different fabrics with different textures. For example The Safari Park range of fabrics looks lovely together. The birdhouse fabric, teamed with a spotty design, dinky dot , which are both from our £9.95 range look lovely against a more expensive fabric form the same collection, Treetops.
There are so many ways to accessorise with cushions and they add an extra finishing touch to any child's room.
