About Roman Blinds
Roman Blinds are a smart an elegant alternative to traditional curtains. Roman Blinds are a modern design, using a flat panel of tailored fabric. They are drawn up in a crisp series of folds, structured with metal rods imbedded in hidden pockets within the blind lining. Rings are attached to the back of the blind and the blind cords are threaded through the rings to enable the blind to be pulled up and down in pleats easily.
Our blinds are mounted to a headrail system that is ready to be installed to either the wall or ceiling. We also use a continuous pull system on our Roman Blinds so they move up and down with ease. The customer can choose whether to have the mechanism on the left or right of the blind during the order process.
Why not make your roman blind more unique by adding beading or trim to the bottom edge. This is sandwiched in between the face fabric of the roman blind and the blind lining and creates a lovely finishing touch to the bottom of the blind. Just ask us about out trimmings and we would be happy to advise or select a trim for you.
Some customers choose to have their Roman Blind instead of curtains and these are usually mounted in front of the window recess, this is known as blind size. Sometimes where curtains are already in place, customers choose to have a Roman Blind in addition to curtains, this is known a recess size blind. In this situation we make up the blind 1cm smaller throughout, than the dimensions given to allow the blind to work within the recess and not catch on the wall.
We are always happy to coordinate fabrics for Blinds with Curtains. For instance Roman Blinds can look really good in a less dominant fabric like a spot or stripe, then choosing made to measure curtains in a fabric from the same colour palette.
Our blinds come highly recommended and a very high level of workmanship goes into each one. Made to measure Roman Blinds far outweigh any readymade option. Check out our testimonials to see what our previous customers have said about our bespoke Roman Blinds.
